period details soft pillows house car noise levels dark rooms loud bar
The architecture is special I found. The rooms have period details and modern touches too. The sheets and pillows were soft. I enjoyed drinks at The Dead Rabbit and a ride there in the house car.
The noise levels became an issue. I heard restaurant and bar noise through the door. Garbage trucks on Nassau street interrupted me. The rooms are also very dark.

Acceptable Stay. Noise Issues Exist
missing housekeeping sticky tape
The building exhibits beautiful architecture. The bar boasts great atmosphere and excellent cocktails.
I found that housekeeping or turndown was absent for the first two nights. Sticky blue tape marred the walls in the hallway near my room. This looked out of place for a hotel that calls itself five-star.

beautiful art large couch desk loud volume average service housekeeping
The room featured beautiful art. A large couch and desk were present. I found the location very nice because it was near subways restaurants and shops.
The volume from the ground floor restaurant was loud late into the night. I could hear it in my fifth floor room. There was no housekeeping one of the nights I stayed. The service seemed average.
